Our Story
Tangi’s Custom Creations is a family-owned marine canvas and upholstery business in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Since January 2020, we have helped local boaters with custom work, hands-on service, and attention to each boat’s layout.
Meet the Family
Karl
After serving in the military, Karl spent more than twenty years working on the customer service side of the IT industry. He brought a practical, service-first approach to Tangi’s Custom Creations. He works with customers on project details and estimates, helping each job start with a clear plan.
Tangi
Tangi brings creativity, sewing skill, and a sailor’s perspective to the work. She focuses on custom cushions and clear-vinyl projects, combining careful craftsmanship with the needs of each boat.
Ryley
Ryley is their son and a hands-on part of the family team. He contributes to canvas production, especially boat covers, and helps carry projects from the plan through the finished work.
Family, Sailing, and Community
Their daughter, Kali, is an important part of their family story. Karl and Tangi are proud grandparents to four grandchildren, and family time is one of their favorite ways to recharge.
The boating community is part of family life, too. Karl and Tangi are active members of their local boat club, support the area’s Learn to Sail program, and help run Dunedin Youth Sailing Association (DYSA). They enjoy helping young sailors learn new skills and experience life on the water.
Our Work
From custom Bimini tops and boat covers to cushions and upholstery repairs, we create personalized, high-quality products that stand up to the elements and fit each customer’s style and needs. As a small family-run business, we take pride in every project and treat each customer like part of the family.
